| The students of this course can acquire the professional knowledge and skills of all aspects of the travel and aviation industries, be accustomed to the operations of the industries, the works of the frontline and back office. It also stresses on personal development, comprising of customer services, effective communication and presentation skills, to meet the requirements of the travel and aviation industries. |

Covers the contents of the “Diploma in Travel & Tourism Operations Studies” and “Diploma in
Airline Operations Studies”. Students will obtain two diplomas and will have wider job
opportunities.
Placement is arranged at tourism and aviation related organizations. Over 100 organizations
participate in the placement programme, including travel agents, tourism offices, airlines, GDS
companies, hotels and cruiseliners, etc.
Emphasis is placed on practical training: tour guide or tour escort practice, visits to
organization(s) in tourism or aviation industry e.g. cruise ships, hotels, theme parks
or airlines, etc.
Students will learn relevant skills and practical knowledge in simulated working environment
such as simulated travel agent and Global Distribution System – Abacus & Galileo.
Professional qualifications may be obtained: “Tour Escort Pass”, Airline Ticketing Certificate
recognized by IATA Agency Programme Joint Council, certificates by Abacus.
Graduates can further study “Higher Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management” offered by
HKTT or work in the travel and aviation industries. |

Some of the modular courses within the Diploma Programme with this icon
have been included in the list of reimbursable courses for Continuing
Education Fund (CEF) purposes. Eligible applicants will be reimbursed
80% of their fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000
(whichever is the less), on successful completion of a reimbursable course.
Interested applicants should submit the completed and certified application
form to the Office of the Continuing Education Fund before the commencement date of the reimbursable course.

In order to complete the course and receive certification,
