| The aim of this course is to provide round development for those who would like to pursue their career in Travel and Tourism Industry. It provides travel knowledge specialized in operations and practical perspectives i.e., travel consulting, tour planning, tour guiding, tour escorting, ticketing & reservation procedure, inbound operations, etc. It also develops interpersonal skills in terms of customer service, effective communication and presentation skills, for the purpose to raise the service standard and train for the professionalism in order to stimulate the development of Hong Kong travel industry.

Market lead course content which helps students to match with the industry requirements,
includes enhanced soft skills training to advance career development.
Students may enroll public examinations organized by Travel Industry Council of
Hong Kong to obtain the “Tourist Guide Pass” or “Tour Escort Pass”.
Tour guide or tour escort practice and visit organization(s) in travel industry.
Placement may be arranged to travel related organization and over 100 organizations
participated in the programme.
Recommend outstanding students to apply of scholarship
TWO Diplomas will be awarded by studying the specified modules of
“Diploma in Airline Operations Studies” at the same time.
Graduates can apply for Associate Membership of The Hong Kong Association of
Registered Tour Co-ordinators (HARTCO).
Gradates can further study “Higher Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management”
of HKTT or work in the travel industry. |

1. Form Five Standard or

“Foundation Certificate in Travel & Tourism Studies” in HKTT or
3. Acceptance is subject to the discretion of HKTT |

2. Continuing Education Fund
Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of their fees,
subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000.
Applicant please ensure that you submit the application to the Office of
the Continuing Education Fund before the commencement of the course. |

of Diploma |
In order to complete the course and receive diploma, students must attend
at least 80% of each subject and pass the assessments. |
