Hong Kong Travel & Tourism Training Centre(HKTT)has been appointed by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) as one of the official training bodies since 1996. Courses are offered to all eligible employees of HKSAR (including new arrivals) aged 15 or above and with education attainment of sub-degrees or below. HKTT offers the following courses:

Placement-tied Courses
Courses are career-oriented and emphasize on wholeperson development, including “Skills Training”, “Vocational Language”, “Personal Attributes Training” and “Job Search Skills”. It aims to help graduates to get jobs and employed continuously. All placement-tied courses are provided for the unemployed and non-engaged only. Applicants should demonstrate strong inclination for employment and interest in subject area.
The Employment Service Department of HKTT has built up an extensive employers’ network to assist graduates in finding jobs. We also provide complimentary job matching and placement services. Our graduates can learn through relevant on-the-job training and strive to become a true professional in the travel and tourism industry.

Skills Upgrading Scheme Plus Courses
It aims to enhance industry-specific professional knowledge and skills of workplace trainees and also help applicants who plan to receive vocational training for a change in career.

Generic Skills Training Courses
Students can improve their languages and applications of information system in order to enhance their competitiveness in the market.

Youth Training Programme
The Programme, which is suitable for non-engaged youths aged between 15 and 20 with education attainment below F.5, aims to stimulate the youths’ desire to learn, motivate them to plan the career path and enhance their employability.

Tailor-made Programme
HKTT also works closely with ERB to provide tailor-made programme to employers or groups of employers who have 12 or more similar job vacancies. This one-stop services include recruitment, pre-employment training tailored to the employer's requirements, promotion subsidy to new employers, and post-employment follow up. This programme will help resolve employers' recruitment problems while securing job opportunities for trainees through pre-employment training, please contact our Employment Service Department at 2808 2777 for details.
 

 
1. Eligible employees of HKSAR (i.e. those with no restrictions of stay including permanent residents of
 HKSAR and new arrivals) ; and
2. Aged 15 or above ; and
3. Education attainment of sub-degree level of below ; and
4. Any other admission requirements specified for individual courses, including job specific requirements
 stipulated by law or for licensing purposes
 

 
Placement-tied Course
Course Features
1. Course fee is fully subsidized by ERB.
2. Trainees who attain an attendance rate of at least 80% for attending full-time placement-tied course,
 are eligible to apply for retraining allowances.
3. Offering placement follow-up services including job matching and referral at least 3 months.
4. All instructors possess professional qualification, working and teaching experience.
5. Applicants may apply for one full-time placement-tied training course while applying for
 another evening foundation skills course concurrently

Skills Upgrading Scheme Plus Courses & Generic Skills Training Courses
Course Features
1. All instructors possess professional qualification, working and teaching experience.
2. Applicants under the following conditions are eligible for applying course fee waiver / subsidies:

Eligibility for course fee waiver
Eligibility for course fee subsidies
Unemployed / Non-engaged / Low income
(monthly income* of $7,000 or below)
Monthly income* between $7,001 and $15,000
Remarks: If applicant's monthly income is $15,001 or above, he / she has to pay the full amount of course fee.
*Income denotes wages and salary through employment (including being employed and self employed), net business income and pension. Income from employment and self-employment includes basic pay, overtime pay, bonus, commissions and allowance(s), etc, with the deduction of 5% contributions to MPF / ORSO. Bonus, double pay, gratuity, etc. should be taken into account in average over the relevant period of the employment.

    Placement-tied Course & Youth Training Programme
    Applicant must call to make an appointment for interview and bring a recent colour photograph, proof of academic qualification and all reference letters from employers for verification on the interview day. Copy of the above documents may be collected for some courses, details can be obtained from individual course information.

    Skills Upgrading Scheme Plus Courses & Generic Skills Training Courses
    Applicant should submit the completed application form and bring along relevant proof of working experience and academic qualification for enrollment to our centre in person during office hours. Copy of the above documents should be submitted for some courses.
    Remarks: Entry test may be required for some courses.
